Vol. 223 No. 3

Question on Adjournment.

I wish to give notice that I intend to raise on the Adjournment the subject matter of Questions Nos. 28 and 29 on the Order Paper of 8th June, 1966, which were taken jointly. I gave this notice on Wednesday last. It was the Leas-Cheann Comhairle who was in the Chair but it was too late to deal with the matter then.

I can only take notice on one question.

The questions were taken jointly.

The Deputy may ask for one question.

Surely when two or more questions are taken jointly at the option of a Minister, they can be raised jointly or else the Deputy concerned should have the option of saying whether they are taken separately.

A decision has already been given on several occasions.

It is a decision that should be changed.

The Minister answered the questions jointly.

I cannot allow this matter to be discussed. I am calling for the Order of Business.

I am giving notice that I intend to raise this matter on the Adjournment.

I will communicate with the Deputy.
