It is proposed to take business in the following order:

No. 10—Votes 28 to 34, inclusive —and 1—Vote 35. Questions will be taken at 2.30 p.m.

On what days will we sit next week?

On Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday being a church holiday, there will be no sitting. We propose to sit from 3 p.m. to 10.30 p.m. on Tuesday and from 10.30 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Wednesday.

It is not proposed to sit for longer hours?

Not unless the business proceeds so slowly that we shall have to consider sitting for extended hours.

Mr. O'Leary

With your permission, Sir, I wish to raise on the Adjournment this evening the fact that many persons who are entitled to receive the old age, blind and widows' pensions increase of 5/- per week by virtue of the Social Welfare (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1966, are being refused this increase by the Department of Social Welfare.

I will communicate with the Deputy.
