Wool Marketing Bill, 1967: First Stage.
Leave granted to introduce a Bill entitled an Act to provide for the improvement and development of the marketing of raw wool and for that purpose to make provision enabling the purchase and sale of raw wool to be regulated and providing for the registration of buyers of fleece wool and the licensing of exporters of raw wool; to establish a body to be known as An Chomhairle Olla and to define its functions; to make provision for the imposition of levies in relation to the purchase or sale of wool fleeces or the export of raw wool; and to provide for certain matters connected with the matters aforesaid — (Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries.)
