I understand that Mayo County Council are investigating the adequacy of the source of the Bangor-Erris water scheme to supply any further extensions.

asked the Minister for Local Government what is the position regarding the extension of Foxford water system, County Mayo.
I have approved Mayo County Council's proposals for an extension of the Foxford water supply to Rinanny and Belgarriff and I understand that the council are at present preparing final contract documents for this work.
The council have been asked by my Department to furnish further technical data in relation to an extension along the Belass Road and this is awaited.

asked the Minister for Local Government when work on the new sewerage scheme for Newport, County Mayo will begin.
Revised contract documents for this scheme were received in my Department yesterday (12th December, 1967) and are at present under examination.
