(a) The number of commissioned officers in the Permanent Defence Force as on 23rd March, 1968, was 1,113; (b) no non-commissioned officers of the Permanent Defence Force have been selected for officer training courses in the past year, and part (c) of the Deputy's question does not therefore arise.
