Proposals for developing a recently acquired site in Donegal town as a new post office are being formulated. It is not possible at this stage to forecast when tenders will be invited. In the meantime, arrangements are being made to provide alternative accommodation for the telephone exchange and this will relieve congestion in the existing post office.
