Presumably the Deputy's question relates to the recommendations of the survey teams which reported to me on fish landing places on the coasts of Counties Kerry and Mayo. Improvements at 36 small landing places were recommended by the teams. The recommended works have been completed at one place and are in progress at nine others. The county councils are undertaking the works at six places and should commence them shortly, assisted by State grants. In the remaining 20 recommendations, eight are being examined by Roinn na Gaeltachta and 12 by my Department.
