asked the Minister for Local Government if he will give a list of group water schemes submitted to his Department by Sligo County Council; the names of the applicant groups; when these schemes were approved; and, if they were not approved, why.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will give a list of group water schemes submitted to his Department by Leitrim County Council; the names of the applicant groups; when these schemes were approved; and, if they were not approved, why.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will give particulars of all regional water schemes submitted to his Department by Sligo County Council for approval; when they were received; when they were approved; if not approved, when they are likely to be approved; and when construction is expected to commence.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will give particulars of all sewerage schemes submitted by Sligo County Council for his approval; when they were received; whether they have been approved; and when it is estimated the construction of them will commence.

Lough Gill regional water supply scheme.	Specification and Contract Documents for Strandhill Section submitted on 11th April, 1968.	Under consideration.
North Sligo regional scheme (section 3).	Tenders for modified scheme received 3rd July, 1968.	Under consideration.
Lough Talt water improvement scheme.	Requests for sanction to appointment of Consultant for Trunk Main and Reservoir at Tubbercurry were received 14th February, 1968.	Under consideration.
Lough Easkey water supply scheme.	Preliminary report submitted on 11th January, 1964.	Approved on 14th May, 1964.
Castlebaldwin/Ballinfad water supply scheme.	Contract Documents submitted on 10th December, 1964.	Approved on 4th March, 1965.
Calry/Kiltycahill water supply scheme.	Preliminary proposals submitted on 14th April, 1966.	Under consideration.
North Sligo regional water supply—extensions to Section 1.	Tenders submitted on 4th October, 1965.	Under consideration.

Sewerage Schemes

Tubercurry sewerage scheme.	Sanction to appointment of con- sultant requested on 2nd November, 1967.	Approved on 17th November, 1967.
Ballintogher sewerage scheme.	Preliminary proposals received on 14th July, 1967.	Under consideration.
Grange sewerage scheme	Preliminary proposals received on 2nd April, 1965.	Under consideration.
Rosses Point sewerage scheme.	Revised preliminary proposals submitted on 17th November, 1967.	Under consideration.
Coolaney sewerage scheme	contract Documents submitted on 31st May, 1968.	Under consideration.
Strandhill sewerage scheme	Sanction to appointment of consultant requested on 26th November, 1966.	Approved on 28th November, 1966.
Easkey sewerage scheme	Details of revised tender sub- mitted on 29th November, 1967.	Tender sanctioned on 18th December, 1967.
Ballysodare sewerage scheme.	Tenders submitted on 5th January, 1968.	Tender sanctioned on 12th January, 1968.

I am not in a position at this stage to say when work on these schemes is likely to be commenced, with the exception of the Easkey scheme which has already started and the Ballysodare scheme which should commence shortly.

Carrick-on-Shannon regional water supply scheme.	Preliminary report received 29th July, 1964.	Approved 11th December, 1964 subject to link-up with Cloone/Mohill scheme.
Cloone/Mohill regional water supply scheme.	Preliminary report received 2nd March, 1967.	Under consideration.
Drumkeeran regional water supply scheme.	Proposal to appoint a Consulting Engineer for this scheme received on 11th May, 1964.	Approved 31st May, 1964.
Glenfarne regional water supply scheme.	Proposal to appoint a Consulting Engineer for this scheme received on 13th January, 1965.	Approved 4th February, 1965; no further proposals.
Extension of Fivemilebourne water supply scheme.	Working drawings submitted 25th August, 1967.	Under consideration.

Sewerage Schemes

Carrick-on-Shannon sewerage scheme (treatment works).	Preliminary report received on 22nd November, 1966.	Under consideration.
Dromahaire sewerage scheme	Contract documents received on 21st March, 1966.	Documents approved on 15th February, 1967. Land rights being negotiated.
Tullaghan sewerage scheme	Tenders received 11th January, 1968; further data received 16th April, 1968.	Tender approved 18th April, 1968.

I am not in a position at this stage to say when work on the schemes is likely to be commenced, except in the case of the Tullaghan scheme which should be commenced shortly.
