Portion of the Murray Estate near Tallanstown will be offered to the county council in the very near future for housing development.
As regards the land at Annagassan, I am aware that discussions have taken place between officials of the Land Commission and the council; following this my information is that the council will be disposed to accept much less than the area originally sought. In this situation the Land Commission are in a position to proceed with the preparation of a scheme for the 70 acre Loftus estate and I am satisfied that an early decision will be reached.
