Vol. 237 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Tipperary Estate.

180.

asked the Minister for Lands the up-to-date position with regard to the Moran estate, Pass, Clonmel, County Tipperary.

181.

asked the Minister for Lands whether the Moran estate at Pass, Clonmel, County Tipperary, has been acquired and divided.

With your permission, a Leas-Cheann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 180 and 181 together.

Proceedings for compulsory acquisition of an area of 88 acres on this estate have reached the stage where the price has been agreed and made a Rule of Court by the Appeal Tribunal. As soon as possession is taken— and this is being arranged for next January—a composite scheme of division will be formulated for this area and the 50 acres already acquired on the estate.
