I am informed by the ESB that the following areas in County Cork are scheduled for re-canvass under the rural electrification post-development scheme during the next three years:—

I said in reply to a question on 3rd December, 1968 that Inchigeela was likely to be re-canvassed in 1971. The ESB now inform me that it may not be reached until 1972.

asked the Minister for Transport and Power when a person (name supplied) in County Galway will be supplied with electric light.
I am informed by the ESB that the householder in question was quoted terms for supply in 1966 during the re-canvass of the Board's Ballymacward rural area under the rural electrification post-development scheme. He did not agree to the terms quoted and in the circumstances he cannot be supplied until the post-development scheme is completed.
