The replacement and reconstruction of bridges on county roads in Wexford is a matter for consideration by the Wexford County Council in the first instance. There are no current proposals before my Department regarding county road bridges in County Wexford. The replacement or reconstruction of a county road bridge may be considered as part of a county road improvement scheme carried out with the aid of the council's county road improvement grant.
Would the Minister say if proposals were put forward by the Wexford County Council he would consider them?
That is a hypothetical question.
