asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state, in expansion of a reply of 4th December, 1968, the nature of any additional proposals received from county councils regarding remuneration, including engineers' clerks and his decision in each case.

(ii) To introduce a service pay scheme for Engineers' Office Assistants with effect from 1st April, 1968, as follows:—

Tipperary(South Riding)

To increase the wages of Engineers' Office Assistants by 20/- per week with effect from 1st April, 1968 and by a further 17/6d. per week from 1st April, 1969
