asked the Minister for External Affairs whether the Government will now initiate measures for the ratification of the International Labour Conventions Nos. 59, 88, 95, 99, 100, 103, 111 and 117 as proposed in Resolution 397 and Recommendation 545 which were adopted by the Consultative Assembly of the Council of Europe on 28th January, 1969.

I understand that the Minister for Labour is at present engaged in a review of all unratified International Labour Conventions to see whether and to what extent any of these can now be ratified on behalf of the Government.
