In County Mayo, a total of 5,952 pupils are getting free transport to school this year. A total of 7,145 pupils are also in receipt of free books.

Instruction in woodwork and building construction is given in evening classes in the oneroom school building in Kilkelly under the auspices of the County Mayo Vocational Education Committee.
I am not aware that there is a demand for instruction other than that already provided.
