asked the Minister for Health if he can give any estimate of the number of people in the country suffering from haemophilia; and what special treatment, if any, is provided for them.

It is estimated that there are approximately 90 persons suffering from haemophilia in this country. Special treatment is available for them in a number of general hospitals and the establishment of a national treatment centre for haemophiliacs is under consideration at present.
