Section 106 of the Housing Act, 1966, requires a county council to put cottages into good structural condition prior to vesting. A tenant who is not satisfied that a cottage is in good structural condition may appeal to me within 21 days from the date he is notified of the vesting. Appeals by a number of tenants in the scheme referred to by the Deputy are, in fact, at present under consideration in my Department.
