asked the Minister for Transport and Power if he will state for each production works of Bord na Móna for the years ended 31st March, 1968 and 31st March, 1969 (a) the tonnage and (b) the sales value in respect of (1) sod peat, (2) milled peat, (3) peat moss and (4) briquettes; and the value of sales of (a) peat moss, (b) briquettes, (c) ESB peat fuel and (d) other peat sales.

It would not be feasible to give the sales value of production as there are many factors which cannot be ascertained until the product is actually sold, e.g. the price of turf sold to the E.S.B. varies with the moisture conten while there are quantity rebates in respect o non-E.S.B. sales, etc
