asked the Taoiseach the total population of the three Ulster counties of Donegal, Cavan and Monaghan in 1926, 1936, 1956 and at the latest date for which figures are available.

With your permission, Sir, I propose to circulate in the Official Report a statement giving the desired information. The latest available figures for county populations are those derived from the Census of Population, 1966.
