asked the Taoiseach the number of insured persons in the years ended 31st December in 1957, 1964 and 1968, at the following employment exchanges: (a) Wexford, (b) Enniscorthy, (c) New Ross and (d) Gorey.

The information available relates to the number of insurance cards exchanged at each local employment office for the insurance years covering the dates specified in the questions. It must be noted that changes in administrative procedures may, from year to year, involve variations in the numbers of cards exchanged at any particular office.

With your permission, Sir, I propose to circulate in the Official Report a statement giving the numbers of insurance cards exchanged at each of the four local employment offices listed in the insurance years specified.
