asked the Minister for Local Government what steps have been taken by the local authorities in Dublin city and county to deal with the pollution of the Camac River.

Major drainage works which are proposed, or in progress, in the Dublin area will remedy to a considerable extent pollution problems such as that mentioned by the Deputy.

The Minister has answered his last question as Minister for Local Government.
