asked the Minister for Local Government the present position regarding the Emlaghmore group water scheme County Kerry; and if he has sanctioned the raising of the loan to carry out this scheme.

I have approved Kerry County Council's modified proposals for the Emlaghmore water supply scheme. As regards the financing of the scheme, no application for a loan has been received in my Department.

asked the Minister for Local Government the position regarding the group water scheme at Dundalk Road, Dromiskin, County Louth.

Louth County Council have recently agreed to make available a supply of water for domestic purposes only to this group. The Department's inspector has explained the position to the promoter of the group and has outlined the next steps to be taken by the members. It is understood that the group intend to hold a meeting shortly to consider the position.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will instruct officials of his Department to visit Termon, County Donegal, in conjunction with officials of the Donegal County Council and discuss with the applicants of the group water scheme in that area the present difficulties with a view to having the scheme completed at the earliest possible date.

Arrangements were recently made for a full investigation of this scheme by officials of my Department and of the county council.
