asked the Minister for Local Government what moneys he intends to make available for housing in the current financial year and what money he made available in five previous years to (a) Tipperary South Riding County Council, (b) Clonmel Corporation, (c) Tipperary Urban Council, (d) Carrick-on-Suir Urban Council and (e) Cashel Urban Council.

As the reply is in the form of a tabular statement, I propose, with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, to circulate it with the Official Report. Following is the statement: —

NOTES: 1. This statement shows for each of the five years ended 31st March, 1969, the totals of:

(i) the capital allocations for house-purchase and reconstruction loans, supplementary housing grants and local authority housing; and

(ii) the subsidy paid for local authority housing.

2. In so far as the current financial year is concerned: —

(i) the capital allocations are provisional and are subject to review during the course of the year. The amount included for subsidy is an estimate.
