I am aware that the question of restocking of rivers affected by recent water pollution has been taken up by boards of conservators with the interests they regard as having responsibility in the matter.
My Department are prepared to assist as far as possible in locating supplies of ova or fry for restocking but I am afraid that at this stage I cannot say what supplies will be available over requirements already committed.
