The tomato position has been kept under very close review in the light of supplies and prices for home crop tomatoes and an announcement was made in the daily press on the 12th November that resumption of imports would be permitted from the 18th November. I am not aware that there was any volume of complaints about tomato prices or that prices were abnormally high.
