Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business, as set out on the Order Paper, in the following order: Nos. 2, 3, 12 and 1. Questions will be taken at 2.30 p.m. By agreement, it is proposed to call on the Minister for Lands to reply to the debate on the Estimate for his Department not later than 11.30 a.m. and to conclude not later than 12 noon. It is also proposed to call on the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Finance to reply to the debate on the Public Works and Buildings Vote not later than 5.30 p.m. and to conclude not later than 6.15 p.m. and, at 6.15 p.m., the remaining Estimates will be put formally, in accordance with No. 3.

It is understood that the Estimates which have not been discussed will be taken by means of a token vote at a later stage?

We continue next week with the usual pattern.

May I inquire if the Chair has, in respect of "Other Business" reached a decision on the two Private Notice Questions which were specifically given by me to the office here at 6 o'clock yesterday evening concerning the rather nauseating, unbalanced onslaught on a "Seven Days" television programme——

The questions have only reached me and the questions will be considered.

In view of the fact that these questions were handed into the office here by me at 6 o'clock yesterday evening, and in view of the fact that the professional integrity of some of the RTE staff is directly involved and in view of the fact that, aided and abetted by——

The Deputy may not debate the purport of the questions now.

When are we likely to get a decision on this matter?

At Question Time, the usual time.

I shall certainly press the matter.

I wish to give notice that, with the permission of the Chair, I intend to raise on the Adjournment this evening the subject matter of Question No. 50 on the Order Paper of 5th November, 1969.
