The formulation of resale proposals for the 30 acre Fox estate has been deferred pending the outcome of proceedings for the acquisition of other lands in the locality. In the event of these other lands being acquired, a composite scheme of division will be prepared.
Possession of the 82-acre Dunne estate at Cranasallagh has not yet passed to the Land Commission but it is likely that this will be arranged in a few months time. Proceedings for compulsory acquisition of the 118-acre Dooley estate are at the stage where an objection lodged by the owners has not yet been determined.
