Macroom Urban District Council's assessment of the housing needs of the town for the period up to 31st March, 1971, as submitted to my Department on 25th September, 1967, indicated a total need of 18 dwellings to be provided between private enterprise and the housing authority. There is no proposal from the council for a housing scheme before my Department at present.
