The total net receipt from wholesale tax from 1st October, 1966, to 30th November, 1969, was £32,687,000 approximately.
As wholesale tax chargeable in respect of transactions in any month is normally payable in the following month, the figures given represent the approximate amounts paid in respect of transactions up to 31st October, 1969, inclusive.
With all that money the Minister for Local Government cannot say when he will sanction a tender for housing in Muinebeag.
