andMr. Cowen asked the Minister for Local Government when he will sanction the consultant for Daingean water scheme, County Offaly.

This matter is being discussed by technical officials of my Department and the local authority. A decision on the council's proposal will issue very shortly.

asked the Minister for Local Government when the Kerry County Council expect work to start on the mid-Kerry regional water scheme.

I would not be in a position to indicate when work on this scheme might be expected to commence until some other pending water supply and sewerage projects, regarded by Kerry County Council as being of a higher priority than it, have been put in hands.

32.

No proposals for this scheme have been received in my Department.
