The provision of facilities at harbours is a statutory responsibility of the harbour authorities. I am informed that tentative plans for the improvement of facilities for pleasure craft at Kinsale Harbour have been drawn up by the harbour authority and that certain minor works have already been carried out. I am not in a position to say when the harbour commissioners will be in a position to undertake the remaining works.
