Vol. 247 No. 4

Written Answers. - Disposal of Dublin Properties.

125.

asked the Minister for Finance to what use the premises in Hume Street and St. Stephens Green, Dublin, referred in his reply No. 28 of 27th May last will be put until they are disposed of by the State; and why there is a delay in disposing of the premises and in deciding the manner of, and conditions to be attached to the sale.

These premises are at present occupied by Government staffs and will be required for this purpose for another six months or so.

The delay in disposing of the State's interest in the properties arises from an undertaking given to consider representations made by certain organisations interested in preserving the houses before deciding on the method of disposal.
