A grant has been sanctioned by my Department for the erection of a new national school to replace the existing one at Kilmuckridge, County Wexford. The Commissioners of Public Works are being asked to expedite the completion of the remaining arrangements leading to the invitation of tenders and the placing of a contract. I am not in a position, however, to say when work on the building of the new school will commence.
