These premises are in continuous use as company headquarters and training hall for An Fórsa Cosanta Áitiúil in the area. In the circumstances, the hall is not available for disposal by sale or lease, or long-term lettings.
Applications for the occasional use of the premises for individual social functions, lectures et cetera are considered on their merits, having regard to military requirements. Before any such application is granted, it is the normal practice to require the applicants to submit evidence that privately-owned halls in the neighbourhood are not available or suitable for the proposed function.
