I am not aware that the service for repair of the telephone system in the Broadway exchange area is unsatisfactory. Generally such faults as occur are cleared within 24 hours of being reported. If the Deputy furnishes details of any particular case he has in mind I will have the matter investigated.

I am not aware that there is unsatisfactory telephone service between Rosslare Strand and Wexford. Plans for the district include conversion of Wexford exchange to the automatic system within three months and Rosslare Strand exchange by the end of this year.
