Vol. 250 No. 3

Ceisteanna-Questions. Oral Answers. - Kerry Re-housing Application.

20.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state the procedure to be adopted in the case of a person (details supplied) who is eligible for re-housing by Kerry County Council and who has offered a site free to the council in the Cork County Council's district; and if he will indicate which council should rehouse the person concerned.

It would be a matter for the housing authority in whose area the person is residing and working, in this case Kerry County Council, to decide on his application for re-housing. It is open to this council to make any arrangements which may be necessary to secure the re-housing of an approved applicant, in this or any other similar case, with an adjoining housing authority, under section 109 of the Housing Act, 1966.
