The figure sought, which to convey the true picture should include cases dealt with under the Probation of Offenders Act and also any cases dealt with under the juvenile liaison officer scheme, could not be compiled by the Garda in the time available since notice of the question was received. I shall have the figure transmitted to the Deputy during the Recess.
