Vol. 252 No. 7

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business in the following order: Nos. 16 and 17 (Votes 42, 42, 35 and 26). Private Members' Business will be taken from 6 to 7.30 p.m. By agreement No. 57 of Private Members' Business will be taken. May I add that also by agreement there will be a 12 hour sitting tomorrow from 10.30 a.m. to 10.30 p.m.?

Could the Taoiseach say, now that the Six County Premier is known, whether he will be making a statement on the matter or whether he will be seeking an early meeting with Mr. Faulkner?

That is out of order. It does not arise on the order of business.

I am just asking the Taoiseach whether he will be making a statement on the matter.

I am prepared to abide by the decision of the Chair in these matters. I do not intend to encourage these instant questions or instant actions from the Labour Party.

I am merely asking the Taoiseach if he will be seeking an early meeting with Mr. Faulkner?

The matter may not be discussed at this stage.
