asked the Minister for Local Government what housing proposals are at present with his Department from Waterford County Council; the dates on which they were submitted to his Department; the reasons for the delay in sanctioning them; and when sanction for each proposal will be granted.

As the reply is in the form of a tabular statement, I propose with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, to circulate it with the Official Report.

Following is a statement of the local authority housing proposals at present before the Department:

Application for a loan of £40,000 to provide 12 houses at Portlaw.

Consideration of this application is being deferred pending receipt of tender proposal.

Application for a loan of £20,000 to provide 4 houses at Ballyduff Upper and 2 houses at Villierstown.

26th October, 1970

Consideration of this application is being deferred pending receipt of tender proposal.

Application for a loan of £55,000 to provide 16 houses at Knockboy, and 2 rural cottages.

26th October, 1970

Consideration of this application is being deferred in accordance with normal practice until such time as the bulk of the dwellings mature to tender stage.

Application for a loan of £56,000 to provide 12 houses at Crooke, 2 houses at Ardmore, 2 houses at Dunhill, 3 houses at Ballymacarbry and I house at Scrahans West.
