Order of Business.

It is proposed to take Nos. 26 (Votes 39, 39 Supplementary, 3, Vote 26, 26 Supplementary) 4. It is proposed to take the Supplementary Estimate No. 39 and 3, in conjunction with Vote 39 and to take No. 26 Supplementary and 4 in conjunction with Vote 26. Questions at 2.30 p.m. and it is proposed to finish questions then.

Could I ask the Tánaiste, Sir, if he would make a statement on a report in today's Irish Independent which states that the Cabinet have come to a decision to treat Michael Collins as a civil war figure?

That matter cannot be raised in this fashion. The Deputy should give notice. This is completely out of order. The matter cannot be raised at this stage. The Deputy may put down a question.

But on the Order of Business——

I am informing the Deputy that it does not arise on the Order of Business and therefore I have to rule it out of order.

Is it not in order for a Deputy to inquire into a Cabinet decision?
