asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state in respect of the years 1969-70 and 1970-71 the number of new house supplementary grants issued by Tipperary South Riding County Council, Clonmel Corporation and Cashel, Tipperary and Carrick-on-Suir Urban Councils.

As the reply is in the form of a tabular statement I propose, with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, to have it circulated with the Official Report.

Notes:

(1) Figures for 1970-71 are not available.

(2) The figures shown are for new house supplementary grants finally paid in the year.

(3) Responsibility for the administration and payment of new house supplementary grants in the Carrick-on-Suir, Cashel and Tipperary urban district areas was transferred to Tipperary (S.R.) County Council with effect from the 1st April, 1970.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state in respect of the years 1969-70 and 1970-71 the number of new house grants issued by his Department in Tipperary South Riding, Clonmel borough, and Cashel, Tipperary and Carrick-on-Suir urban areas.

Separate figures of grants paid in respect of completed private houses are not available for the county health district and individual urban districts. The numbers paid in respect of the administrative county of Tipperary South Riding in 1969/70 and 1970/71 were 35 and 122, respectively.
