asked the Taoiseach if he will state in respect of Counties Louth, Cavan and Monaghan the total number of persons professing the Church of Ireland religion according to the 1966 census.

A question on religion was not asked at the 1966 census of population and the most recent census in respect of which such information was obtained was that of 1961. The numbers of persons stating their religious denomination to be Church of Ireland in the counties specified in 1961 were:
