The Droichead Nua area is patrolled by a garda car from the district headquarters at Kildare, 5½ miles away. There is also a radio-equipped motor cycle at Droichead Nua station and the commissioner is satisfied that the area is at present adequately provided for by official transport. The position will be kept under review.
