The information requested in respect of the financial year 1956-57 is available from the returns of local taxation for that year. The total rateable valuation of Dublin County Borough and the rate in the £1 struck by Dublin Corporation for 1970-71 were £4,073,456 and 89s 5d respectively. Details of the total amount collected in rates by Dublin Corporation in 1970-71 have not yet been furnished to my Department.
