As I indicated in reply to a similar question from the Deputy on 5th August, 1971, Aer Lingus are constantly discussing with airlines around the world possible co-operative arrangements in relation to utilisation of aircraft or co-ordination of sales, but there are no discussions being carried on at present in relation to mergers or similar arrangements of a fundamental kind.
