asked the Minister for Local Government if there are any plans in his Department for the Shannon housing scheme, Enniscorthy, County Wexford; if so, if he has considered these plans; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I approved the urban district council's proposal to accept a tender for this scheme on the 3rd November, 1971. The council's proposal to raise a loan to finance the scheme is under consideration and a decision on it will be given as soon as possible.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will list the housing schemes for which Wexford County Council have submitted plans; and when he hopes to be in a position to sanction the plans.

As the reply is in the form of a tabular statement, I propose with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, to circulate it with the Official Report.

Following is a statement of the housing scheme for which Wexford County Council have submitted plans and which are at present being examined in my Department:

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will list the tenders for housing schemes received from Wexford County Council; when these tenders were received; and when he hopes to be in a position to sanction them.

Wexford County Council's proposals for the acceptance of tenders for schemes of 12 houses at Fethard, 16 houses at Duncannon, and 54 houses at Campile are being examined in my Department. These proposals were received on the 28th September, 1st and 25th October, 1971, respectively. My decision will be given on them as soon as possible.
