I am having the unemployment assistance position of these men examined and I shall write to the Deputy about it at an early date. I would point out that among the statutory conditions for entitlement to assistance is the requirement that a person be unemployment and available for work. It will, moreover, be appreciated that determination of entitlement to unemployment assistance is a matter for the statutory determining authorities and not for me.
