I am informed by Bord Fáilte that they are at present having detailed discussions with all sectors of the tourist industry in connection with the outline tourism plan which the board has already circulated to the trade. The board hope that it will be possible to achieve a consensus of purpose, between the private and public sectors involved, in planning tourism development for the period 1972-75. The question of changes in policy, including development and marketing plans for the 1973 season, will be considered in the light of the results of the consultation with the industry.
