It is not possible to furnish the precise information requested as the latest date for which the average weekly industrial earnings of men and women are available is 31st March, 1972. The ordinary social insurance contribution rates in operation at that date for men and women amounted to 6.4 per cent and 11.9 per cent respectively of their average weekly industrial earnings.
