I would refer the Deputy to my replies to Questions Nos. 120 of the 13th July, 1972, and 41 of the 24th February, 1972, about the Johnstownbridge housing and sewerage schemes. I have received no further proposals from the local authority. I understand, however, that they are continuing their efforts to resolve the difficulties in the provision of water supply and sewerage services and so enable the housing scheme to go ahead.

asked the Minister for Local Government when he will be in a position to approve a tender from a firm (name supplied) for the erection of 44 houses in Celbridge, County Kildare which was submitted on 8th October, 1972.
A proposal for the acceptance of a tender for this scheme is under consideration in my Department. I will give my decision on it shortly.
